NEW YORK — The 2000 Yr Previous Man is popping 100. Mel Brooks on Sunday will rejoice his centennial birthday.
The comic and filmmaker has been awaiting the milestone. Earlier this yr, Judd Apatow titled his retrospective documentary on him: “Mel Brooks: The 99 Yr Previous Man!”

Brooks was born Melvin Kaminsky in Brooklyn, New York, on June 28, 1926.
