The “Ice Ice Child” rapper was among the many final artists standing on the Trump-backed “Nice American State Truthful” after the vast majority of the lineup — together with Morris Day, Martina McBride, Younger MC, Bret Michaels, and extra — all dropped out.
Vanilla Ice defended his choice to stay part of the Freedom 250, saying, “I’m right here to social gathering with America, man… I don’t assume it must be about any political factor or something like that. I don’t even vote, so I don’t even care.” The rapper added, “I’ll go play for Putin and I’ll play in Iran if you’d like. It don’t matter. There’s followers in all places. Music isn’t political, man. It’s common.”
