LONDON — King Charles III on Thursday turned the primary reigning British monarch to reveal his private tax invoice, breaking with a centuries-old custom of royal monetary privateness.
The gesture of transparency was a part of an effort by Buckingham Palace to include fallout from damaging revelations in regards to the funds of the king’s disgraced and demoted brother, the previous Prince Andrew, now merely Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
